NFL Draft

Best things come in 3s

Taken in the top 10 were three running backs, three wide receivers and three Auburn Tigers. Then there were another 245 picks after that. The 2005 NFL Draft started with Utah's Alex Smith going No. 1 to the 49ers and it closed with William Penn's Andy Stokes named "Mr. Irrelevant" at pick No. 255. All in all, it was a historical draft , and one that isn't over with all the free agents still available , according to Gil Brandt.
